State of the Art
Video-Endoscopy Equipment

Dr T's now has "state of the art"
video-endoscopy equipment. This
includes both a 1 meter and 3 meter
scope. The 1 meter scope is generally
used to evaluate the upper respiratory
tract of the horse. We are able to
visualize from the nostrils to the
trachea and everywhere in between,
including inside the guttural pouches.
The 3 meter scope is the only way to
look inside the horse's stomach to
diagnose equine gastric ulcers and to
evaluate the success of ulcer
treatment. The image from inside the
horse is displayed on a video screen
for all to see. The images are then
saved on a digital image capture
device and can be copied to a disc
and/or printed for the client to take
home.
We are excited to offer this service to
our clients and to expand our
diagnostic capabilities.
