Dr. Harper
Dr. Justin Harper grew up in South Texas.  Originally from Edinburg, Texas
in the Rio Grande Valley, Dr. Harper grew up showing cattle and horses.  He
was actively involved in 4-H and FFA, which led to his pursuit of a degree in
Animal Science from Texas A&M University.  Dr. Harper then pursued his
veterinary education at Texas A&M University’s College of Veterinary
Medicine.  Upon completion of his veterinary education, Dr. Harper
participated in an internship at Littleton Large Animal Clinic Equine
Hospital in Littleton, Colorado.  In order to pursue additional training in
equine surgery and lameness, Dr. Harper gained acceptance into a three
year equine surgical residency program at Auburn University.

Dr. Harper received his diplomate status by the American College of
Veterinary Surgeons after successfully completing the certifying exam in
2009.

Dr. Harper and his wife (Jodi) currently reside in Boerne, Texas.  Currently,
Dr. Harper spends his time traveling throughout Texas to different clinics
where he performs surgery and lameness evaluations.  Dr. Harper is glad to
attend Dr. T’s Equine clinic bi-weekly providing surgical, lameness and
other related services to our clients.
